We the community, as a united force, bring ‘Art in Motion’ to life. Art in Motion delivers an enriching art program with a culturally competent curriculum, supplies, and training. Its mission is to empower artists with the transformative abilities of creativity, critical thinking, self-expression, and resilience. Through this comprehensive platform, people in our communities embark on a journey of personal growth and self-discovery, using art as a powerful tool to nurture these essential life skills. Our mission is to increase development, awareness of, and access to culturally appropriate creative content, information, local resources, and tools. Through this program, we set the stage for creative content with a focus on social justice and human rights. We work to teach artists to document and share stories that empower individuals and communities, foster healing, activism, and entrepreneurship. With culturally-focused art, we can educate and entertain, sharing equity-driven insights.
