Support services For Crime Victims

Our program, Community Voices, provides a vital lifeline for historically underserved survivors of crime who identify as people of color, youth, and individuals with diverse gender and sexual identities. This program is designed to be both culturally relevant and trauma-informed, aiming to not only offer essential services but also mitigate the destabilizing impacts of trauma and victimization. Within this program, survivors can access a wide range of supportive services. These encompass healing initiatives rooted in cultural traditions, incorporating indigenous approaches that prioritize cultural practices. This includes a holistic blend of behavioral health support, group therapy alternatives, innovative modalities such as Body Talk/BodyIntuitive Sessions, and ceremonial healing traditions, fostering a space for recovery that acknowledges the importance of cultural heritage. Beyond healing, the program also extends advocacy, coordination, awareness, engagement, and comprehensive case management services. In essence, it’s a full-service and culturally sensitive support system dedicated to aiding survivors on their journey towards recovery and empowerment.
